Demystifying Sundarban- by Basudeb Pal Majumdar

A painter, naturalist, wildlife photographer and filmmaker, Basudeb Pal Majumdar has keen interest in wildlife since his early days. He has designed and executed many natural history galleries in numerous museums in India.  He has had many solo exhibitions which include ‘Wildlife of India, a tangible national heritage’ organised by the Indian National Trust for Cultural Heritage (INTACH). His paintings are collected in India and abroad and some have been awarded. He has co-authored ‘Chilika the celestial lake’ and ‘Bhitarkanika the mesmerizing mangrove’. Last but least are his documentary films ‘Sroter Panchali’ and ‘Ananya Sundarban’….
